Getting tattooed is a big deal. Whether it’s your first or your fiftieth, knowing how things work makes the process smoother for you and the artist. Below are the questions we get asked the most at our Maroochydore studio, with straight answers.
Do you take walk ins?
Yes. Walk ins are welcome Wednesday to Saturday, 10am–5.30pm. If it’s a smaller tattoo we can usually get you in on the day. For bigger pieces or custom designs, it’s best to book.
How do I book?
Choose your artist, then contact them directly. Instagram is the easiest way. If you’re not sure who’s best for your idea, call the shop and we’ll point you in the right direction.
What styles do you do?
We cover a wide range. Traditional, Japanese, Neo Traditional, Fine line, script. Each artist has their own style, so check their portfolios first.
Do you tattoo under 18’s?
No. You must be 18 or older. We need government-issued photo ID on the day.
How much does a tattoo cost?
It depends. Size, placement, detail. A palm-sized traditional design won’t be the same price as a half sleeve. The only way to know is to ask your artist.
How do I pay?
Cash only. No card, no Afterpay, no bank transfers. There’s an ATM nearby if you forget.
Where can I park?
There’s a small driveway behind the shop. Street parking is close by but check time limits. If you’re coming from further across the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane, allow a little extra time to park.
What’s your cancellation policy?
48 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits may be forfeited if notice is not given.
How do I look after my tattoo?
Your artist will give you clear instructions. The basics:
Keep it clean
Use a light moisturiser
No sun, no swimming until it’s healed
Don’t scratch or pick at it
Healing takes time. Follow aftercare and your tattoo will look its best for years to come.
